Pleasant warming trend continues Tuesday

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte's quiet weather pattern continues into Wednesday. A weak cold front will push through Tuesday night with some scattered rain/snow showers possible in the mountains for a few hours in the evening -- but the sky will be clear for the Metro.

This front will drop temperatures about 10 degrees for Wednesday. For the rest of the week through the weekend, warmth will be the big story. Temps will climb well into the 60s -- close to 70 on Saturday and into the mid 70s Sunday.

About the only other thing we need to watch is the next cold front, now slated to arrive late Sunday into Monday with a good dose of rain.
