SALISBURY, N.C. — A man was shot and killed Monday at Institute and West Horah streets, according to the Salisbury police.
Police identified the victim as 19-year-old Abraham Jenkins. They said two people are on the run.
The shooting happened before 4 p.m.
Livingstone College was placed on lockdown Monday afternoon as a precaution. The reported shooting happened a few blocks away from campus.
