• Police: 1 person shot in north Charlotte


    CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Police have not made any arrests in a shooting in north Charlotte on Thursday afternoon.

    Paramedics rushed the victim from North Tryon Street near East 16th Street to the hospital around 2 p.m.

    The victim is expected to survive.

    Police have not released any suspect information.
