• Police arrest man in kidnapping

    CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Charlotte-Mecklenburg detectives are investigating a domestic-related kidnapping Saturday after police were called to the 10400 block of John Price Road.
     
    A man kidnapped his ex-girlfriend and fled the scene in a vehicle, according to a CMPD news release. 
     
    Officers in the University City area located and arrested the suspect without incident. 
     
    The victim was unharmed. 
     
    The suspect was transported to police headquarters where detectives interviewed him.
     
    The case is under investigation and names have not been released.
