• Police: Father falls asleep, toddler wanders into street

    ROCK HILL, S.C. - A Rock Hill man has been arrested after police found a 3-year-old boy alone in the middle of the street.
     
    Ladavideoun Neal is charged with cruelty to a child.
     
    Police said a driver on Nations Ford Road noticed the child just before 10 a.m. Thursday.
     
    The child's grandmother told police she left the boy in Neal's care.
     
    Neal told police he fell asleep.
     
    Another person in the house said she was watching another child and did not see the boy leave the room.
