• Police investigate break-ins at 3 churches in 1 day

    CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Police are investigating break-ins at three Charlotte churches in one day.

    Officers said on Monday, thieves hit a church on Albemarle Road, one on Old Pineville Road and another one on Central Avenue.

    The thieves took thousands of dollars worth of  musical equipment, including a piano, a keyboard, speakers, a guitar and an amplifier.

    They also caused hundreds of dollars in damage to the church doors while breaking in.
