Police investigate double shooting at motel in Gastonia

GASTONIA, N.C. — Officials said two men were shot at the Motel 6 in Gastonia Wednesday morning.

Police said the men apparently shot at each other inside a room they had both checked in to.

Chopper 9 Skyzoom flew over the motel on Broadcast Street, where we saw crime scene tape and police cars.

Guests in nearby rooms called police after the shooting.

Officials said the injuries are not life-threatening.
