CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are investigating after two people were robbed early Friday morning in east Charlotte.

Officers said a man and a woman were waiting on a ride in a shopping center across the street from the Shell station on Albemarle and Harrisburg roads around 3:30 a.m. when two men robbed them and drove away.
The victims went to the Shell station to call police after the robbery.
No arrest have been made at this point.
