CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg police have arrested two suspects after a man was found shot inside a car in uptown Charlotte early Thursday morning.
Officers responded to a disturbance inside a car near Cedar and Cates streets.
Police found two people inside the car, one suffering from a gunshot wound to the knee. The initial investigation indicated the second person in the car may have been one of the suspects.
Friday, investigators said Daniel Sansone and Shawndale Mitchell had been arrested and charged for trying to rob the man in uptown.
Mitchell and Sansone are expected to appear in court Friday on several charges, according to police.
