ROCK HILL, S.C. - Police in Rock Hill are searching for a man they said is peeping into women's homes.

Both crimes happened within walking distance of each other on Rock and Emmett streets.

Two women in the last four days have called police saying a strange man was outside their window on Emmett Street looking in.

The first victim said she made eye contact with the man, who was standing outside her bedroom window.

She said he was wearing a blue towel or blanket wrapped around him.

The second victim said the man in a blue blanket was on her deck and he ran as well.

The victims didn’t want to talk on camera, but a neighbor said she believes the man is a homeless man who neighbors have left food out for.

Still, she is surprised he would be a peeping Tom.

“Do I believe that he’s a peeping Tom? No. What somebody else feels or things, you know, is different,” she said.

Police said a possible suspect has been identified from a photo lineup, but no arrests have been made.
