Police: Man charged in fatal hit-and-run involving Corvette

CONCORD, N.C. — Police charged a van driver in connection with a fatal hit-and-run in Concord.

The driver of a Corvette, Silvio Joseph Cadolino, 61, died from injuries he sustained in the crash.

The crash occurred on May 4 and Cadolino died a couple weeks later.

Police have charged Terrence Michael Ryan, 42, with one felony count of hit-and-run and one count misdemeanor death by vehicle.

Ryan was driving a 2004 Ford Freestar on Concord Parkway when he struck the Corvette and then left the scene, police said.

Ryan turned himself into police Tuesday.

He was taken to the Cabarrus County Jail with bond set at $25,000.
