• Police: Man gets $1.7M bond in meth lab bust

    BESSEMER CITY, N.C. - A Bessemer City man is facing dozens of charges all related to a suspected meth lab.

    Police said Jeffrey Lemley Jr. operated a meth lab out of his home on Besstown Road.

    Investigators said he conspired with others to get the materials he needed and then kept the byproduct on his property.

    The Gaston Gazette report he's in jail on a $1.7 million bond.
