• Police: Man taken to hospital after shot getting off bus

    CHARLOTTE, N.C. - A man was rushed to the hospital Saturday afternoon after he was shot while getting off a bus in northwest Charlotte.

    Police said the shooting happened on Bradford Drive, but officers said the victim ran away and collapsed at a church parking lot on Freedom Drive.

    He was taken to the hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries.

    Police haven't released a motive and they're still looking for a suspect.
