MECKLENBURG COUNTY, N.C. — On Saturday morning, the name of the person killed in a serious accident Friday night in Mecklenburg County was released. The crash happened at 8:44 p.m. near the intersection of Oakdale and Mt. Holly Huntersville roads.
Police said Brandon Bryant, 27, was driving his car, a 2008 Nissan, south on Oakdale Road when he lost control and cross the center line into oncoming traffic.
The right side of the Nissan hit a 2003 Toyota Tacoma driven by Joshua Oakley.
Oakley sustained minor injuries, but Mandy Glenn, the right front passenger, and 7-year-old were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
