No arrests made after victim shot at north Charlotte shopping center

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A person was shot Thursday night at a small shopping center on North Tryon Street at 30th Street in north Charlotte, police said.

The victim was shot in the abdomen, according to officials.

A hair salon and barber shop in the shopping center may have been open when police were called to it at about 9:30 p.m.

It appeared the shooting happened in the parking lot, police told Channel 9.

The victim was taken to a hospital.

No one was in custody Thursday night.
