Police: Thieves caught walking down street with 50-inch TV

CLOVER, S.C. — Clover police responded to a house Saturday for a disturbance call.

The officer said he observed two men who were intoxicated and told them to go home.

About three hours later, the same officer said he saw the same two men carrying a 50-inch flat screen TV walking down Main Street.

The officer took the men into custody.

A few hours later, police said a victim came to the police department to report a stolen TV.

He was working third shift after returned home to find his TV was gone.
