CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg police told Channel 9 early Friday morning that they have found a South Meck High School student who was reported missing earlier in the week.
Alonzia Briscoe, 14, left school and did not return home Monday, police said. She was reported missing around 4:20 p.m. in the 7900 block of Park Road.
Briscoe was found safe Thursday night and was reunited with her family, officers told Channel 9.
She is a ninth-grader at South Mecklenburg High School.
