CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are looking for a suspect accused of robbing two businesses over the span of two days.
The first robbery happened just before 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at a Payless ShoeSource on Eastway Drive.
Police said the suspect entered the store, flashed a weapon, and demanded money.
He fled the scene after receiving the money, according to CMPD.
The second robbery was Thursday, just after 2 p.m. at a GameStop on South Boulevard.
Officers said the suspect displayed a firearm and stole property from the store before fleeing the scene.
Police described the suspect as a black male in his late 20s. He was last seen wearing a black jacket and black pants.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are also searching for a suspect wanted in connection to a robbery of a beauty supply store in University City.
The robbery happened just before 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Galaxy Beauty Supply on West Sugar Creek Road.
Police said the victim said the suspect displayed a firearm and demanded property from the business before leaving the scene.
The suspect is described as a black male, approximately five feet six inches tall, and was last seen wearing a dark colored sweatshirt and black pants.
