Concord police: Missing mother located

CONCORD, N.C. — UPDATE: A woman who was reported missing earlier this month has been found and is safe, the Concord Police Department confirmed on Thursday.

Police in Concord are searching for a woman who has been missing since March 2.

Yuvaya Morrisey, 26, was last at Concord Pointe Apartments after she dropped off her son at school. It’s unknown if she left on foot or in a vehicle, Concord police said.

Police said Morrisey was wearing all black and has dreads with honey-blonde tips. She’s about 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds. She has brown eyes and black hair and was last seen wearing dark blue jeans, a black shirt, a black cardigan, and black shoes.

Her mother said Morrisey has health concerns and takes medication.
