Channel 9's Stephanie Tinoco spoke with neighbors, who said they heard multiple gunshots around 6 p.m. Saturday night.

"We don't want to come outside," neighbor Amy Walton said. "I come outside at night, but it's scary. That's why we keep both of our doors locked. It just needs to stop. We should be able to walk out front doors and not worry about it."

Walton said she lives feet away from where the man was shot. She said it was near a playround, where children were playing.

"You heard the parents grabbing them," Walton said. "The one that was shot, they were dragging him in the car. I seen some girl running and they picked him up and threw him in the car and they just took off. It's scary. I don't know who he is. I've never seen him before.

Police ask that anyone with information on his whereabouts call 911 or Salisbury police at 704-638-5333.
