• Police: Shots fired into home, child injured

    CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Police said someone shot into an east Charlotte apartment and a child was hurt.             
     
    Paramedics said they took the child and a woman from Hickory Valley Court to the hospital.
     
    Police said both have non-life-threatening injuries but wouldn't confirm if they'd been shot.
     
    They haven't made any arrests and said it is possible that the victims knew the suspect.
