2 charged after police discover unlicensed day care in Hickory

HICKORY, N.C. — A man and woman were arrested and charged after police found an unlicensed day care Wednesday, according to the Hickory Police Department.
 
Police discovered the unlicensed in-home day care facility on 16th Avenue NW in Hickory.
 
Crisofor Parra Casareal was arrested and charged with indecent liberties with a child and first-degree sexual assault. He has a pending charge of operating an unlicensed day care.
 
Tonya Lynn Casareal was arrested on felony warrant for operating an unlicensed day care Wednesday.
 
The investigation is ongoing and anyone having knowledge of children who were taken to that address should contact the Hickory Police Department at 828-328-5551.
