Political expert says Trump campaign’s lawsuits are strategy to cast doubt on results

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The president’s campaign is ramping up it’s legal fight filing new lawsuits against states that are still counting votes.

Channel 9 talked to political science professor Dr. Aaron Houck who said Trump campaign’s lawsuits are more about strategy to cast doubt on election results rather then legitimate legal concerns.

“I think that the lawsuits are largely about political optics rather than legal claims with real merit,” he said.

Two of the lawsuits filed in Georgia and Michigan were thrown out Thursday.
