A local mom had two of her sons test positive for COVID-19, and is warning parents to monitor symptoms in their kids that could be from the virus.
The boys only had mild symptoms, she said, but mom Jen Neitzel took them to get tested for the virus out of an abundance of caution. It took two rounds of COVID-19 tests to find out both sons had the virus.
“We just don’t know who’s going to get it,” Neitzel said. “Why not just wear a a mask and follow the guidelines so we can protect everybody?”
