Ramsey Creek Beach in Cornelius will not open this year despite the recent rain, said Mecklenburg County Parks and Rec officials on Monday.
The water levels aren’t high enough to open the beach.
Mecklenburg County’s outdoor pools and spraygrounds are still open through Labor Day weekend:
In May, officials closed the beach due to the low water levels.
