Real estate roundup: The latest residential projects across Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — More for-sale residential development in neighborhoods near center city is getting off the ground.

That includes a 45-unit condominium project at 1900 S. Tryon St. in South End as well as a development with 39 condos that recently broke ground at the corner of North Davidson and Anderson streets in NoDa.

Add several townhouse projects by Charlotte-based Hopper Communities to the mix. The Charlotte-based homebuilder is planning or has under construction projects in Belmont and South End, among other neighborhoods.

On the rental side, a pair of workforce housing projects in Rock Hill received the green light from city leaders in August.

And more multifamily projects appear pegged for Charlotte, as evidenced by recent rezoning petitions by Alliance Residential Co. in Optimist Park and by Crescent Communities in the Ballantyne area.
