Richmond Co. deputies seek man on federal warrants

Candor, NC — The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help with the arrest of John Adam Rillo of Candor, North Carolina.

Officials said they attempted to arrest Rillo on Friday on federal indictment arrest warrants.

Deputies said Rillo took off on foot through a dog kennel which stopped the deputy following him.

Rillo was last seen running behind 2013 Cemetery Rd. around a wooden area in Candor.  Police said Rillo has been known to be armed and dangerous and may possibly have a ballistic vest.

Rillo is wanted as a felon in possession of a firearm, manufacturing methamphetamines, and resisting a public officer, along with a few other accounts.
