CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Two major road closures will impact travel near Elizabeth.
The Charlotte Department of Transportation will be working on Bay Street starting at 9 a.m. Monday.
C-DOT is trying to realign the intersection of Bay Street and Pecan Avenue. Bay Street will be closed for about two weeks.
Bus routes will not be affected.
Crews will also be closing the intersection of Kings Drive at Elizabeth Avenue until Dec. 12. The closure will start at 9 a.m. Monday. Crews will complete utility work.
To bypass the intersection, take McDowell Street, Seventh Street, Charlottetowne Avenue or Fourth Street.
