Officials determined Brooks was at Justin Marino’s house, who is a registered sex offended.

Officers got a warrant to search the house and found Brooks as well as cocaine and other items Marino was prohibited from having due to his probation, deputies said.

Officials said Marino is facing charges for the crimes he committed there and for picking up Brooks and crossing state lines with her after he returned to Atlanta.

Officials with Rowan County Department of Social Services will go to Atlanta to pick up Brooks.

No other details have been released at this point.
