ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. — Crews in Rowan County were called to help after it appeared a cow got stuck in the mud Monday afternoon.
Officials said they were called to Webb Road near Safrit Road for a large animal rescue.
Chopper 9 Skyzoom flew over the area and saw a cow that appeared to be trapped in the mud. The animal was surrounded by emergency personnel.
Hours after crews were called there, officials said they were able to free the cow from the mud.
