School districts continue to review mask polices

The latest COVID-19 metrics show that South Carolina health officials reported on Tuesday 564 new cases, which is a decrease from a week ago. In North Carolina, officials reported more than 1,300 new cases, which is about the same as one week ago.

The COVID-19 trends are affecting how school districts are moving ahead on whether masks are required in class.

However, some worry about a possible spike in COVID-19 cases.
