Shooting sends one to hospital with life-threatening injuries

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A shooting in Charlotte sent one person to the hospital with life-threatening injuries Monday night, police said.

Police and emergency crews responded to the shooting at about 10 p.m. in the 6400 block of Rockwell Boulevard in northeast Charlotte, off West Sugar Creek Road.

One patient was transported to Carolinas Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, according to Mecklenburg EMS Agency.

Police have not released any suspect information.
