CALDWELL COUNTY, N.C. — In order to be fully vaccinated, two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine is required.
If you get the Pfizer vaccine, the second dose is given three weeks later, and for the Moderna vaccine, the second one is administered four weeks later.
The Caldwell County Health Department had a shortage of COVID-19 vaccines due to community members going different places to get their vaccine shot.
Carolinas Healthcare Blueridge sent over 150 doses of the Pfizer Vaccine to help out with the shortage.
