• Shots fired into north Charlotte home, children inside

    CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Police said two people were hurt Thursday night when someone fired shots into a north Charlotte home.

    Nine people including five children were inside the Griers Grove Road apartment.

    Two adults were shot and were taken to Carolinas Medical Center, police said.

    Police have not identified the person or persons who did the shooting.
