Silver Alert canceled for 2 missing elderly people in Cabarrus Co.

CABARRUS COUNTY, N.C. — A Silver Alert has been canceled for two missing elderly people Friday in Cabarrus County.

Bruce Tennant, 81, and Janet Tennant, 80, are believed to have dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

They were both last seen near East Main Street in Locust.

Bruce is described as 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. He has short gray hair and blue eyes.

Janet is described as 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighing 120 pounds. She has medium-length white hair and blue-green and hazel eyes.

Officials believe they may be traveling in a white 2010 Kia Forte with a North Carolina license place number AEK3574.
