• IMPORTANT: Some WSOC viewers will need to re-scan their TVs

    Updated:

We’re sorry for the transmission issues we’ve had over the past few weeks. Depending on your location, some of our viewers have not been able to receive Channel 9 and TV64 due to required FCC work that was being done at our transmitter site.

WSOC-TV will end transmission of programming on RF channel 34 on Friday, September 6, 2019 at 3:00AM EDT. At that time, WSOC-TV will begin broadcasting on RF channel 19. Viewers with Over-The-Air antennas will need to re-scan their TV sets or Set Top Boxes after 3:00AM EDT to receive WSOC-TV. Cable or satellite viewers do not have to do anything.

WAXN-TV will end transmission of programming on RF channel 50 on Friday, September 6, 2019 at 3:00AM EDT. At that time, WAXN-TV will begin broadcasting on RF channel 32. Viewers with Over-The-Air antennas will need to re-scan their TV sets or Set Top Boxes after 3:00AM EDT to receive WAXN-TV.  Cable or satellite viewers do not have to do anything.
