South Carolina teen missing, may be in Charlotte

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, S.C. — The Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help in locating 17-year-old Clifton Washington.

According to officials, Washington left his home on West Walnut Avenue in McBee, South Carolina, on Tuesday after meeting Darrius Brooks and two others on Facebook.

The teen was headed toward Charlotte around noon in a gray Ford Fusion. He was last seen wearing dark blue jeans, a white tank top, red and white shoes, and carrying a violet book bag.

Washington is described as being 6 feet, 4 inches tall and weighing about 180 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
