Starlink satellites seen streaking across night sky

CHARLOTTE — Several viewers sent Channel 9 video footage of the Starlink satellite streaking across the sky Monday night.

Some called the newsroom asking what they saw in the sky above.

Starlink is a constellation of satellites in low orbit and operated by SpaceX, which moves at about 300 miles a minute.

It provides high-speed broadband internet to remote and rural locations across the earth, according to its website.
