CALDWELL COUNTY, N.C. — There have been 100 reports of damage to roads in the mountains and foothills from the weekend storms.
The damage south of Hickory would cost tens of thousands of dollars to fix and residents of some private neighborhoods say they don’t have that kind of money.
“We’re praying a lot,” said resident Eddie Miller. “Hopefully we can get some help, other than that the families are just gonna have to scrape and do what we have to do.”
