Students concerned about peers as they face threats of violence

CHARLOTTE — Many students excited about returning to school must face the reality of violence against some of the youngest members in the community.

Extra Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officers were at the campus of Myers Park High School Friday after a student brought a gun on Wednesday.
