PICKENS COUNTY, S.C. - Emotions ran high as the three suspects charged with killing a Fort Mill college student made their first court appearances Tuesday afternoon.

The three suspects -- Jordan Dalton, Jaron Dalton and Bernard Ramsey -- appeared before a judge in Pickens County, S.C.  They are charged with killing 23-year-old Steven Grich during a robbery Saturday night at his home near Clemson University, where Grich was an engineering student.

"You took our son, our angel. You (will) never know the pain we endure," Grich's mother told the three suspects as she and Grich's father and brother stood behind them in the tiny makeshift courtroom.

Steve Grich told the suspects they had shot his son while he was lying on the floor, as they had ordered him to do.  Grich and his surviving son, Shawn, wore strips of Steven's bloody T-shirt --all they had left, they said, of him.

Investigators say they believe the suspects were intending to rob Grich's roommate, who they said had sold marijuana out of the home.

After the hearing, the families of the suspects, also in the courtroom, apologized to the Grich family, and shared a tearful embrace.

All three suspects are being held without bond.

Deputies are still looking for a fourth suspect -- 18-year-old Lester Moseley.  They say he could be armed and dangerous.
