CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A southeast Charlotte neighborhood united against injustice Friday as neighbors marched through their streets peacefully.
One of the neighborhood’s strongest voices is also once of its youngest.
18-year-old CJ Bailey organized and led the march through the Grier Heights community, where he was born and raised.
“This is a small step in the change we want to see,” Bailey said.
