CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Myers Park was a popular place for high-priced residential real estate sales in July.

More than half of the 10 most-expensive homes sales in Mecklenburg County last month came from that neighborhood, including the top overall sale found just off Queens Road near the East Morehead Street intersection. That 6,287-square-foot home sold in mid-July for $2.4 million.
Sitting on more than a half-acre lot, the home includes six bedrooms, five-and-a-half bathrooms and is within walking distance of the historic Duke Mansion in the upscale Charlotte neighborhood. It was built in 1989 and last sold for $1.575 million in June 2016, according to county property records.
