CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Thousands of educators were back at Spectrum Center on Saturday to get vaccinated for COVID-19.
Many were there to get their second dose but some got the Johnson & Johnson one-dose vaccine.
“This is something that’s going to benefit the entire nation and our community, so the faster that we all get the vaccines, the better,” said teacher Haleigh Redmon.
>> In the video at the top of the page, teachers told Channel 9 that this gets them one step closer to having more students in class.
