CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Three employers in the Charlotte region have earned a not-so-coveted spot on a list ranking companies on worker dissatisfaction.
24/7 Wall St., a financial news and opinion website, put Indian Land-based CompuCom, Matthews-based Family Dollar and Charlotte-based Belk among 18 employers on its annual "Worst Companies to Work For" list.
24/7 Wall St. compiled its ranking by scouring employee reviews on career site Glassdoor. Only companies with at least 1,300 reviews and currently headquartered in the U.S. were considered. It noted that companies on average received 3.4 out of a maximum five-star rating, but the 18 firms on its list scored a rating of 2.7 or lower.
