CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Tickets for the Charlotte run of the hugely popular Broadway musical “Hamilton” are set to go on sale beginning Dec. 8 at 10 a.m., Blumenthal Performing Arts announced on Thursday.
The show is coming to Belk Theater April 26 - May 15, 2022.
Tickets prices range from $49 to $179 with a select number of premium seats available from $199 for all performances.
There will also be a lottery for 40 $10 seats for all performances. Blumenthal will announce more information on those tickets closer to the show.
Tickets will be available online at blumenthalarts.org or by calling 704-372-1000.
“Hamilton” producer Jeffrey Seller warns ticket buyers that while it’s tempting to get tickets any way you can, “there are many sites and people who are selling overpriced, and in some cases, fraudulent tickets.”
“For the best seats, the best prices and to eliminate the risk of counterfeit tickets, all purchases for the Charlotte engagement should be made through blumenthalarts.org,” Seller said in a news release.
When the show made its Charlotte debut in 2018, hundreds of fans waited outside the theater to buy tickets and even more waited hours online to purchase tickets.
