An overturned tractor-trailer had the outer loop shut down along Interstate 485 in north Charlotte for several hours.
The tractor-trailer flipped on its side near mile marker 21 blocking the highway.
The crash was near the W.T. Harris Boulevard on-ramp.
All lanes reopened by 5 p.m.
