Troopers: 1 dead in 2-car crash in Fort Lawn

FORT LAWN, S.C. — Emergency officials were investigating what led to a deadly crash in Fort Lawn early Monday morning.

Police told Channel 9 that one person was killed when two cars wrecked on Highway 21 around 5:45 a.m.

State troopers had a section of the road closed while they were investigating.

The name of the person killed has not been released.
