• Troopers: 2 hospitalized after crash on I-77

    CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Two people were being treated at a hospital after a crash on Interstate 77 in north Charlotte early Tuesday morning.

    Investigators told Channel 9 that a car stalled in the right northbound lane near Sunset Road around 12:45 a.m.

    They said moments later, an SUV crashed into it.

    The driver of the car and a passenger in the SUV were taken to Carolinas Medical Center and their conditions were not immediately available.

    Troopers have not said if charges will be filed in the wreck.
