• Troopers: 2 injured in I-77 wreck near Fort Mill

    FORT MILL, S.C. - Two people were injured after a wreck on Interstate 77 on Monday, according to the S.C. Highway Patrol.
     
    Troopers said a car was driving northbound on I-77 about a-half mile north of Fort Mill. Lecia R. Taylor, 51, of Columbia, was driving a 2003 Ford Expedition with Danny M. Shubert, 52, in the passenger seat.
     
    The SUV had a tire blowout and the driver lost control. The truck overturned. Both were taken to Carolinas Medical Center Main.
     
    Troopers said no charges are pending.
